Prerequisites
– have extended rights
– the Product Confidentiality option must be enabled
(see Switch to extended rights | Enable an option)

This option allows products to be classified as confidential and to choose the collaborators or groups that can access these products.

Product Configuration

Access the Product List:

– Applications Menu > Chemical Products > Products

1. Select the relevant product

2. In the Actions column, as in the product form, click on Edit

3. Confidential: check Yes

4. Accessible to:
– Select the group from the first dropdown menu
– Then select the name or names of the collaborators to whom you want to grant confidentiality.

5. Save

The product will now be visible only to the selected collaborators.

The platform administrator can view confidential products when connected with extended rights: a Confidential search filter is then available in the Chemical Products list.

User Rights Configuration

The right to view confidential products is configured in the roles.

To access the list of roles:
– Applications Menu > Administration > Roles

1. Select the relevant role

2. Edit

3. Products section > Confidentiality: Check Yes

All collaborators with such a configured role can view and manage the confidentiality of products in their group.
